In the fall of 2019 we decided to take a 2nd trip to the Mayan Riviera in the same year. Our first choice is the Grand Palladium but since we were just there in May we decide to try a new resort. We selected the Ocean Coral & Turquesa Resort in Puerto Morelos as it is only 15 minutes from the airport.
The Ocean Coral is not as big as the Palladium but it does have a very nice beach area with lots of shade. There was never a problem finding a lounge chair in the shade at the beach.
And of course when we got tired of the beach their pools were GREAT.
The area between the beach and pools was small but attractive. It is perfect for those who do not like long walks.
The best part of this resort for us was the "Outside Italian Restaurant" which is not even on their web site. The entrees prepared tableside were excellent.

Besides being good, most entrees were presented so beautifully that you just had to take a picture.
